RD-01 is water rescue equipment, offering instant rescue capabilities and the ability to perceive incidents faster through its laser analysis technology. Its auto-inform and lifebuoy dropping system can prevent incidents from happening without prior notice.

Existing water rescue products and concepts all focus on equipment improvement and have been developed for a long time. However, these products still rely on the lifeguard's full-time observation. Research shows that prolonged standby periods under hot weather can lead to loss of focus. That's why the most important thing in rescue is for the lifeguard to receive instant information when an incident happens.
Many people think that waving and yelling are what drowning looks like, but thrashing in the water is actually a sign of aquatic distress. The person is in trouble but can still take part in their own rescue by grabbing onto something. After this point, the Instinctive Drowning Response sets in. The person's mouth bobs above and below the water, and they press down on the water laterally to try to stay above it, which means they cannot wave or yell for help. So, be sure to look for these 10 quieter signs of drowning instead.
By using lasers to detect the actions reflected by humans and then analyzing their behavior and situation through a database, if a swimmer is in danger, the drone will inform the lifeguard. This approach can achieve rescuing incidents without solely relying on lifeguards' full attention, thus reducing long standby periods that can lead to fatigue and loss of focus.
By incorporating AR (Augmented Reality) technology into the rescue drone device, lifeguards can now effectively stand by above the waters. This integration provides a wider range of visibility for lifeguards, and the FPV (First Person View) gives them a dynamic sense of vision. Consequently, this helps prevent lifeguards from having to standby for extended periods with the same view, which can lead to a decrease in attention.
After evaluating AR glasses, it was found that the technology to display images on them under direct sunlight has its limitations. As a result, in the next stage, the focus shifted towards finding another realistic way to display information effectively. That's the reason why the final model of the controller includes a screen.
